Ms. Thompson has over 30 years of experience in database design, management, and programming. She specializes in developing standard procedures that allow users—clients and Aspect staff—to collect data efficiently, store it in a central location, access it easily, and present it clearly. Recently, she headed up a project tasked with development of an integrated GIS/Records Keeping system to map stormwater conveyances for a large organization and to provide the Stormwater Manager with graphical mapping tools to assist in managing NPDES permit compliance. Other projects include migration of databases from MS Access to MS SQL Server and development of intuitive web interfaces that allow users to share and manage data.
