With over 18 years of experience in groundwater development and management, Mr. Miller has led a variety of investigations throughout Washington state. His work on watershed assessments has entailed integrating conceptual hydrogeologic models with detailed analyses of water budgets, seawater intrusion (for safe yield), and surface water / groundwater interactions. He has established or enhanced groundwater monitoring networks at over 10 landfills in western Washington; for several of these sites, he also designed engineering controls. His experience developing water supplies has not only included siting and designing large-capacity wells, but also procuring water rights for municipal, hatchery, and irrigation uses.
