AREAS OF SPECIALIZATION

» Groundwater flow and transport modeling

» Statistical and numerical hydrologic analysis

EDUCATION

MS, Civil & Environmental Engineering, Water Resources Engineering, Duke University

BS, Environmental Science and Regional Planning, Washington State University

With over 13 years in the consulting industry, Mr. Bannister has broad experience in water resource development and environmental assessment. A groundwater modeling specialist, he has managed and implemented projects in the Pacific Northwest, Arizona, California, and South Africa. His models have a range of applications. They have been used to support water right investigations, develop remediation strategies, and optimize irrigation practices, as well as to assess surface water / groundwater interactions and saltwater intrusion potential. Peter consistently applies the most cost-effective, technically appropriate models to address issues related to groundwater quantity, flow, and contaminant transport. He also has extensive field experience characterizing hydrologic systems.
