Here’s what clients are saying about Aspect Consulting...

“In summary, you (Dave McCormack) have done an excellent job. Your product represents a quantum leap in our understanding of the subsurface geology of the region (area surrounding Seattle-Tacoma International Airport), and it should provide guidance…for future application in geologic investigations and ground water studies alike…your willingness to receive, and even encourage, outside review is the strongest indication of the conscientiousness of your efforts and the quality of any final product.”

—Dr. Derek Booth, Research Professor, Departments of Civil & Environmental Engineering and Earth & Space Sciences, University of Washington

“Gayle Thompson of Aspect Consulting continues to be a significant contributor to the Port of Seattle’s Environmental Services. As the chief architect in developing the Port’s Environmental Information Management System (EMIS), Gayle leveraged her extensive technical and analytical skills to develop a system on which the Port relies for accurate, flexible and secure management of its environmental data. Working with Gayle has truly been a pleasure.”

—Jeremy Webb, Environmental Data Manger, Aviation Division, Port of Seattle

“Your firm’s [Aspect Consulting’s] innovative use of technology has helped me organize a wealth of data that has been collected at the airport over the last fifteen years. I have received excellent complimentary remarks from Port of Seattle staff members as well as affiliates of the Airline Tenant Group for the content and usefulness of the database…The database is used to more effectively manage environmental issues at the facility…The integration of your knowledge of our facility with the efforts of others enables us to develop a technical basis for making consistent environmental management and business decisions.”

—Paul Agid, Sr Environmental Program Manager, Port of Seattle

“On behalf of the Des Moines Creek Basin Committee, I whole-eartedly recommend Aspect Consulting for the provision of on-call services relating to tasks involving environmental investigation and remediation of site contamination issues. In their work for the Basin Committee, Aspect Consulting has shown themselves to be diligent, timely and technically proficient. They have worked in a very challenging technical situation and have consistently produced outstanding analysis and documentation while meeting very tight timelines. Their ability to respond quickly, to focus their work on the relevant issues, to deliver the necessary staff and equipment in a timely manner for field operations, and the high quality of their graphic and report preparations has been a substantial boon to the Basin Committee projects. Their work has also occurred in a politically challenging environment, and their ability to foster strong working relationships with both their technical counterparts and the various agency and sponsor management participants has been a major factor in the ability of the Basin Committee to secure timely permits for construction. I have no doubt that, without the assistance of Aspect Consulting, the Basin Committee would not have received the necessary permits in time to allow construction activity in 2004.”

—David Masters, Des Moines Creek Basin Committee

“I have had the pleasure of working with Aspect Consulting on two major water and wastewater tunnel projects over the past few years. Aspect has been responsible for the interpretive geology and hydrogeology in the Puget Sound glacial soils for the ongoing Brightwater Conveyance project in King and Snohomish Counties. As a Technical Review Board member on this project I have been consistently impressed with their understanding and ability to present this complex information in a clear and understandable manner to the tunnel designer and in EIS/Impacts documentation. The most critical element in the success of soft ground (soil) tunnels is a clear understanding of the geology and groundwater conditions, combined with an understanding of their potential impacts on tunnel construction. Based on my 35 years of experience as a geotechnical tunnel engineer in the greater Seattle area, Aspect Consulting is the best that I have seen at assembling this complex picture for tunnels within the Puget Sound glacial soils.”
