Water Storage Support

Supporting Design and Construction of Stormwater Storage Project

Contact us for more information.

Aspect provides geologic and geotechnical support to water supply, stormwater, and irrigation storage projects. We help public agencies and civil engineering teaming partners evaluate the soil and groundwater conditions necessary for stable man-made and natural reservoir storage. Because of our water rights and water supply experience, we offer you multi-disciplinary insight into the physical and regulatory factors critical to siting and designing stable water storage structures.

  • Geologic and geotechnical siting
  • Seismic and foundation evaluation
  • Dam engineering support
  • Seepage analysis and remediation

Selected Critical Areas Permitting Projects

WRIA 31 Horse Heaven Hills, Klickitat County
Providing geologic and geotechncial evaluation to support siting, feasibility study, and design for irrigation reservoirs of up to 60,000 acre-feet.

Madison Valley Stormwater Storage Project, Seattle
Providing geotechnical foundation design and construction support to the City’s 1.3 million gallon stormwater storage tank and surrounding site features.

Water Right Mitigation Ponds, Kittitas County
Developed geotechnical recommendations for berm construction and evaluated groundwater impacts on proposed design of a storage pond, which mitigates consumptive water rights in a closed basin.
