Owen Reese Promoted to Associate

Owen Reese has been promoted to Associate Water Resources Engineer in recognition of his leading role in Aspect Consulting’s stormwater services practice. Owen is committed to finding sensible solutions to stormwater management problems that result in real world improvements in water quality and flow. Owen’s experience extends beyond stormwater management to include watershed hydrology, water rights, and environmental impact assessment. His current projects include several stormwater designs for the aggregate mining industry, assisting the Port of Seattle with NPDES permit compliance, and evaluating the hydrology and water quality components of the Lake Tapps water rights.

Owen’s commitment to finding practical solutions to water resources problems is global in its reach. In 2005/2006 Owen and his wife, Amy, spent two years working on an extended volunteer project in Honduras, where they designed and oversaw construction of a drinking water treatment system for a community of 900 people, as well as started up a multi-year project to make and distribute household drinking water filters to rural communities.
