March 2008Aspect Deepens its Geotechnical Engineering Practice with the Addition of Senior Associate Geotechnical Engineer, Henry Haselton, PE and Senior Geotechnical Engineer, Todd Parkington Geotechnical engineers Henry Haselton and Todd Parkington provide additional depth in addressing slope stability and geologic hazards, supporting infrastructure projects, and coordinating with our environmental and water resources specialists to provide comprehensive answers to project challenges. In joining Aspect, Henry Haselton, PE, is returning to the private sector after many years as the geotechnical engineering practice leader for the City of Seattle. At the City, he managed a group of practicing geotechnical and materials engineers working on public works, capital improvement projects, focusing on drainage, wastewater, water supply, transportation and power utility projects, as well as landslides and other emergency responses. At Aspect, Henry is serving as the geotechnical practice leader, combining his eight years of public sector knowledge, strong project management skills, and consulting background to assist clients and colleagues with their geotechnical, civil and environmental needs. No niche practitioner, Todd Parkington, PE, has spent his fifteen-year career working on a range of geotechnical projects. From residential and commercial developments, to industrial development, to municipal infrastructure, to earth fill dams and open pit coal mines, Todd has developed a solid grounding in geotechnical practice. His recent projects involving slope stability for developments facing critical areas ordinances throughout the Puget Sound area, and his experience supporting environmental investigations, merge perfectly with Aspect’s core practice areas. |
