Aspect 2008 Holiday Party
Event funds clean water for village in India
Aspect Consulting and our employees enjoyed a lively holiday
party that was focused around a charity auction to benefit Water 1st International,
a Seattle-based non-profit organization working in developing countries
to implement community-managed projects in water supply, sanitation and
health education. The evening included a silent auction, a live auction,
a vacation time raffle, and a marketplace with goods provided by Water
1st. Aspect "seeded" the auction to get the bidding started
and then the generosity of our team kicked in to double the amount raised
-- $6,622 for Water 1st!
The holiday mood was festive for the event held in the Chinese Room at
the top of the Smith Tower. Was it the 35th floor view of snow falling
on the city? The cans of PBR that were so popular from the bar? Or was
it the humor of our home-grown auctioneers? We're not sure, but it sure
was a fun night, and much appreciated by Water 1st International.
"Wow! Aspect Consulting has blown our socks off with the generosity
of your employees in an impressive auction process. Your contribution
is more than enough to provide a village in India with clean water, sanitation
facilities and hygiene/health education. Water 1st is very grateful that
you chose to support our work this holiday season."
Jim Moore
Board Chair of Water 1st International
