National Bike Month: Aspect Pedals 2384 Miles in May.

19 riders comprising three Aspect teams, and one especially tenacious employee, engaged in friendly competition during the 2009 Group Health Commute Challenge. For total miles and number of trips ridden, team Butt Sweat and Gears was victorious with 771 total miles, edging out The Flat Tires by 88 total miles and Slow Ride by 249 miles. Geotechnical engineer Henry Haselton was a force to be reckoned with and rode a whopping 409 miles on his own! Aspect riders bested their 2008 total of 1872 miles by 512 miles.

This was the second year Aspect participated in the event and it has become a staff favorite. Sponsored by the Cascade Bicycle Club and Group Health Cooperative, the Commute Challenge is a chance to test your bike-commuting mettle by riding to work as often as you can during the month of May - and an opportunity to challenge other cycling colleagues, clients and competitors.
