07/23/09Aspect 2009 Summer Party The employees of Aspect Consulting enjoyed a day at the
beach near Kingston full of food, fun and marine mollusks. In addition
to Aspect's traditional feast of tri-tip steak and crab legs, employees
competed in a feverish (and filthy) search for the elusive geoduck
on the mucky shores of Puget Sound. Four teams were in stiff competition
to be the first to locate and dig up the world's largest burrowing clam.
Teams were allowed to use only a trowel, their engineering prowess and
what "tools" could be found on the beach. A wooden plank, a
large barrel and a child's small pink beach bucket were put to good use
and in a muddy free for all, 3 geoducks were captured and later politely
eaten.
