Fall Golf Outing
A group of golf enthusiasts from Aspect enjoyed a crisp,
fall day of golf at the Jackson Park golf course; opened in 1930 and home
of the 2009 Seattle Amateur Championship. Although no amateur champions
were crowned on the day, the scramble format allowed for a competitive
tournament, with plenty of great golf shots and fun to be had by all.
In addition to the tournament, there were prizes for those who were closest
to the pin on select holes, who had the greatest number of useable drives
(Master Blaster Award), and the greatest number of useable approach shots
(Approach King Award). Following the tournament, a group of the golfers
enjoyed great food and beer in north Seattle while discussing some of
the “shots of the day”, and with the feel of winter in the
air, plans for the upcoming Aspect Ski Day.
